Ever since a Kangaroo named Feznick, seen in TV commercials, stuck his nose under his enclosure in 2005 and was bitten on the lip by fellow actor (and purebred wolf) cosmetic surgery for animals worldwide has made the news.

Feznick made the news because a chunk of his upper lip was gone, ruining his close-ups. So the lip repair with done with his appearance in mind. (“Just like a human lip augmentation, only with a lot more hair, “ said the surgeon.

The top animal cosmetic surgery is for males only. Animal lovers worldwide are sensitive to pet overpopulation so neutering is much, much more popular.

However, that leaves male pooches without a familiar sign of their, well, maleness. So somewhere around half a million “neuticles” – or, cosmetic testicles — have been implanted on dogs in 49 nations. Neuticles are made of medical silicone and range in size from petite to XXL.

The Kardashian’s pooch Rocky, pictured above, was one such recipient of restored doggy maleness.

According to London’s Daily Telegraph, South American veterinarian Edgard Brito is a leading doggy cosmetic surgeon who uses Botox to perk up pooches’ ears, reduce facial wrinkles and improve the shape of canine eyebrows. Many of his patients are headed for the championship rings of top dog shows.

At least one case of a canine tummy tuck is on record. A dachshund that once tipped the scales at 77 pounds lost a lot of weight and was left with stomach skin that drug the floor. Result? Two pounds of excess skin was removed via the tummy tuck procedure.

Some pet owners have requested skin removal from dog breeds that have wrinkled faces.

Other breeds like bulldogs, pugs and sharpeis are sometimes given canine nose jobs to create better and more healthy breathing channels.  Sharpeis and Chows often have an inbred defect that causes the eyelids to roll to inside, making the eyelashes rub on – and sometimes scratch – the eyeball. What to do?

Answer: A doggy style eyelid lift.
